Birds of Paradise

Jack is just an ordinary sparrow who wishes he could be more exotic like his friends. So when an accident involving colorful paint changes the way he looks, he is thrilled about his new appearance. But his new look will lead him down a path of adventure and danger. He and his new friend Aurora, a beautiful yellow canary that has been locked up her whole life, manage to escape and they will need to rely on each other, as well as their wacky friends, when a case of mistaken identity leads them on a thrilling journey. Along the way, Aurora and Jack soon learn that it’s not what you look like, but who you are on the inside that matters.

Dove Review

Here is a charming animated tale about a sparrow and a dove that lack confidence in who they really are. Jack is a sparrow but is being put down by the Valley doves because he is ordinary. Aurora is a canary that has always been in a cage and does not really know who she is outside of that cage. Together these two find an adventure in a world outside that shows them how important it is to be who you are and the importance of friendship.

It is a cute tale that teaches the viewer lessons about what is inside of a person or in this case a bird. It makes the point that it is not important what you look like on the outside. In addition it shows the wonderful help that friends can give each other no matter what the circumstances surrounding around you. This is a great movie for the entire family. We are proud to award “Birds of Paradise” the Dove “Family-Approved” Seal for all ages.
