On the Edge Collectors Edition

On the Edge: Vince bets his college roommate he can prove that God exists. There’s only one problem: he has no idea how. His only hope is to take him on a camping trip with friends from church. Thus begins the adventure shot on location in the spectacular Yosemite National Park. Amidst the hiking, campfires, and storytelling, they talk about the tough questions people ask in life. Laughter, sorrow, and plenty of action will definitely keep you On The Edge of your seat.

Thin Ice: Vince, a college student, loves the mountains, skiing and fun, so an invitation to Lake Tahoe is a no-brainer…

However, the trip includes people from a church group, and six strong sets of opinions about God soon collide. Vince’s weekend of fun is threatened as tensions rise and sparks fly. This thought provoking drama combines plenty of action and humor both on and off the slopes.

Dove Review

This movie makes a statement about the existence of God! A college student named Vince bets his roommate Ross that he can prove God exists. So he invites Ross along on a trip to meet his Christian friends. Ross meets Xalton and Vince and Woody as well as others and they enjoy hiking, camping, and skiing. However, they also run into a few problems including injuries and God proves Himself faithful. Ross finds himself being more open to God than before.

The movie does deal with those who struggle in their faith and one young man displays a marijuana cigarette but does not light it and expresses his concern later on that he struggles at times. The idea of obedience as well as God’s love is discussed. The gospels are plainly shared as several people state a faith in Christ. There are several breath-taking scenes in the film of mountains and beauty. We are happy to award this movie our Faith Friendly Seal for ages twelve plus. This one could spark a great discussion about God and His love for mankind.
