Dove Review

What’s not to love about “Rio 2”? The movie features great songs, humor, fantastic nature scenes, and great voice work too, including the likes of Anne Hathaway, Jesse Eisenberg and George Lopez.

The plot features Blu and Jewel taking a trip to the Amazon where they find Jewel’s father and an old friend. The father wants Blu and Jewel and their children to move back but Blu doesn’t want to. In addition, some construction workers are there to cut down trees and soon the war to save their world is on.

This wonderful movie features vivid colors, memorable characters, and terrific comedic scenes. There is also a running theme of “Happy wife, happy life!” We are pleased to award “Rio 2” our Dove “Family-Approved” Seal for all ages. Your kids will love it and so will you!
