Synopsis

When noted surgeon Dr. John Dolittle swerves his car to avoid hitting a dog, he hits his head and triggers his dormant gift to talk to animals. Friends and family all express concern, but the doctor is happy as he takes on new animal clients. Soon Dr. Dolittle’s clinic becomes a haven for all kinds of animals and they teach him a little something about being human.

Dove Review

Dr. Dolittle was a very well made and exciting movie. Eddie Murphy talks to the animals with such ease. The animation is flawless. I believe that Eddie Murphy is at his best when he plays in family movies, and he shines in Dr. Dolittle. The rest of the cast is awesome as well. There is a little bit of potty humor, but it does not detract from the overall movie. The story line is great and the acting and animation is even better. I recommend this movie to anyone.
