Synopsis

This sequel to the action comedy Miss Congeniality begins a few weeks after the last film ends. While working undercover to catch some bank robbers, FBI agent Gracie Hart (Sandra Bullock) nearly blows the sting operation when she is recognized by civilians who saw her on the televised beauty pageant. Realizing that her fame is making her field work nearly impossible, Gracie reluctantly accepts a job as public relations ambassador for the FBI. Her new partner and bodyguard, Sam Fuller (Regina King), is a tough, unpopular agent who has been moved around a lot in the bureau due to her inability to get along with other agents. When Gracie’s best friend (Heather Burns), who also happens to be Miss United States, is kidnapped in Las Vegas along with her emcee (William Shatner), Gracie can’t resist getting involved again.
