Synopsis

A grouchy couple give birth to a very sweet girl they name Matilda. Unlike her bratty brother and mean parents, Matilda becomes a very sweet and extremely intelligent girl who is very anxious to go to school and read books. After a while, her parents send her to a school with the worst principal in the world, a very sweet teacher, and good friends. While trying to put up with her parent’s and principal’s cruelty, she starts to unwittingly unleash telekinetic powers that destroy a television and make a reptile fly on her teacher. With enough practice, Matilda starts to learn to control her telekinetic powers and soon is using them on her principal so she can drive her away from the school.

Dove Review

Matilda had parents who didn’t care about her or love her, and a principal at her new school who doesn’t like any of the kids. She finally finds the care she has searched for when she meets her teacher. This is a great movie as there is always something happening to keep your attention. Kids will love tthis movie. The only family concern to mention was the cleavage the mother revealed in some of her outfits.
