Synopsis

Take two rival TV reporters: one handsome, one talented, both male. Add one producer, female. Mix well and watch the sparks fly.

Dove Review

In this romantic comedy Jane, a writer-producer, is torn between two men-Brooks, who says he loves her and is the better reporter, and Hurt, who says he wants to learn more from her, and who is a lot more handsome. They are both her friends who work for the same TV network. The film shows how real-life people use high-pressure jobs as a way of not being alone, as Jane does, who is constantly working. A funny part is when they are scrambling around the room trying to get last-minute things done before they go on-air. Jane has to tell the reporter, Tom, through an earpiece what to say in an important news report because he doesn’t even know what is going on. It seemed to be a bit slow and repeats the same things. It was a clean movie. It’s a movie younger viewers probably would not care to see which is why I am recommending it for ages twelve and above.
