Synopsis

Treasures in Heaven is a wonderful story of contrast between two men who seek to follow Jesus. The young rich man asks how he can gain eternal life and leaves saddened because he won’t forsake worldly wealth. Zacchaeus, on the other hand—a publican—gives half of his wealth to the poor and restores four-fold anything wrongly taken so that he may follow Jesus and receive salvation.

Dove Review

This film ” Treasures in Heaven” focused on Zacchaeus, his greed and how he turned from his greedy ways, repented and did right to those he stole from. Zacchaeus learns a valuable lesson of not gathering things from this world but to lay up treasures in heaven instead. You will also see clips of Bartimaeus, the blind man, and his healing, and the story of the rich man who found it hard to give up his possessions to follow Jesus. This short film is filled with great lessons for all to learn.

The producers did a good job at making this film interesting for people of all ages. This is a short film so children can watch and learn about the Bible without losing interest. This would also make a great teaching tool for churches. ” The Animated Stories From The New Testament” series is a great way to teach your children about God and the Bible and it opens the door for your children to start asking questions. It is easily Dove approved for all ages.
