Dove Review
This horror film had the gore seemingly required of the genre but the plot fell short of telling any semblance of a story. Ashley Judd and Michael Shannon’s acting fails to lend anything positive to the film. However, Harry Connick Jr. is a real departure in his role as Aggie’s convict ex-husband.
There is strong language in this film. The amount of violence, as well as its gory nature, would be distressing to many viewers. In addition, there is frequent drug use throughout the film as well as gratuitous nudity. The film “Bug” was not approved due to the content.
