Chronicles of Life: Starfish

Pilot episode: Chronicles of Life: ‘Starfish’

Chronicles of Life is a series of shows that will capture the cares of us all. With a search to find what matters most in the lives of our viewers, each life acts on boundaries that are set. We feel the limits that reach inward; limits set by society, that lie deep in our soul. ‘Starfish’ unfolds the truth of Love.
In this fast paced world, the needs of others are far from our minds. Cell phones and computers keep us busy. They can carry us through each day without notice of the other person; losing the true meaning of why we are here. ‘Starfish’ carries the design of Truth. The power of one helping another. This story reaches into the depth of compassion of the heart.

Dove Review

At sixteen years old, Monica Berkley was a very loving girl who had an awesome relationship with her grandmother. But when Monica turns eighteen, she starts making choices that aren’t so good; partying and drinking with her friends, and lying to her grandmother. Monica is growing distant from her. She grows cold and almost uncaring. All she seems to think about is herself and the thoughts of meeting Tyler, a young man who has piqued her interest. But one day, while on the beach, she sees a couple of little girls placing starfish back into the ocean. It’s then that she discovers all life is precious and we can all make a difference. We award this DVD our Dove “Family-Approved” Seal.
