Stuart Little 3: Call of the Wild

Stuart Little’s back in an all-new, all-animated movie! School’s out for the summer and the Little Family is spending their vacation at a beautiful lakeside cabin. Leading the way is Stuart, who can’t wait to spend his entire vacation canoeing, hiking and finding his inner scout. But, there is something lurking in the forest who could spoil all the fun: THE BEAST; a mean and isolated forest terror who rules the local animals with an iron paw. When Snowbell is taken prisoner, a Little bravery goes a long way as Stuart, along with his new friend, Reeko, a skunk, heroically rescues him, frees the other woodland creatures and outwits the wily Beast. It’s a big job for a Little mouse, but someone’s got to do it! Featuring the voice talents of Michael J. Fox, Geena Davis, Hugh Laurie and Wayne Brady as Stuart’s newest pal Reeko, it’s the next big thing in Little adventure!

Dove Review

Stuart Little and his “family” including Mom and Dad, George and the cat Snowbell, head to a remote campsite for some summer fun. Stuart has no idea of the adventure that awaits him. A creature known as the “beast” has everyone up in arms but Stuart learns more about this mystery as the film nears the conclusion. This DVD has vibrant colors in addition to the great voice work of Michael J. Fox, Hugh Laurie and Geena Davis. There is a scene or two which might frighten viewers under eight, including a scene in which a bear chases a character with teeth barred, but it turns out to be a wind-up bear! There are plenty of humorous moments and the kids will love it. In once scene a beaver is annoyed with a skunk and tells him to “talk to the paw!”

We happily award our Dove “Family-Approved” Seal to this animated adventure.
