Sue Thomas: F B Eye – Volume 3 (3 disc set)

“Sue Thomas: F. B. Eye,” is an original drama, and is inspired by the true story of Sue Thomas, a profoundly deaf girl from the age of 18 months, who is about to start her first real job – which happens to be with the F. B. I. Using her unique lip-reading ability, Sue becomes the secret weapon of the bureau’s elite surveillance team, making new friends and acquaintances, while also having to prove herself to the skeptics who think she doesn’t belong there. And then there’s the handsome, All-American FBI agent Jack Hudson providing romantic sparks… All of this as Sue and her “partner in crime” – her hearing dog, Levi – pursue cases ranging from bank robbery to white collar crime to terrorism. Sue and Levi are suddenly “G-men,” caught up in a good deal more action than they ever bargained for. But what they lack in experience, they more than make up for in spirit and enthusiasm.

Dove Review

The 3rd season of this wonderful series continues to follow Sue Thomas along with her hearing dog, Levi, and her fellow agents at the FBI. As the team investigates terrorism, arm dealers and robbers to name a few, they also show some personal conflicts, relationships and the interaction between this close working group.

As in the past two seasons, Sue and Levi encounter many issues and through it all the viewer always realize that Sue’s faith is strong. In many of the situations, she reveals some encouraging words about what God’s plan may be for a person or how He may help us through tough times. This is truly an entertaining show for the entire family.

Although some of the conflicts that the FBI investigates would not be interesting for small children there is never any thing offensive or graphic in this show to put it outside family approval. This being said, we award Season 3 of Sue Thomas F. B. Eye the Dove “Family-Approved” Seal for all ages.
