Secrets of the Mountain

Can a family survive an ancient mystery? Somewhere between the demands of her career, her ex’s wedding and her kids’ busy schedules, Dana James is noticing her tight-knit family starting to unravel. An unexpected offer to purchase her family’s mountain property sets up a weekend road trip, which she hopes will bring her family back together. But when they arrive, they quickly learn that the mountain is much more than it seems. An ancient secret and a treacherous quest will test the family like never before. It’s an edge-of-the-seat thriller that reminds us that when times are tough, families don’t run away from problems- they run back to each other.

Dove Review

Remember when you were a kid and the Sunday night movie came on and the entire family gathered around with the popcorn to watch. Well, finally it’s happened again. This movie was first shown on NBC on a Friday night as a family movie.

It’s a wholesome movie which everyone can enjoy about one family that finds their way back to each other through a mystery that they work together to solve. In the process the family members learn a little about how each has been feeling and mend some problems among themselves.

Although there may be some scenes which are a bit scary for real young children, this is truly a great family movie. We proudly award this film the Dove “Family-Approved” Seal for all ages.
