Dove Review
This movie is classified as a horror-comedy. It is really a parody with not-so-subtle references to “Twilight” in the tradition of the much funnier “Airplane,” “Hot Shots” and “The Naked Gun” series, starring Leslie Nielson. The lead characters’ names are even similar to the “Twilight” leads; Edward, Becca and Jacob.
The audience was made up mostly of teenage girls who laughed at the obvious “Twilight” references in the story. The humor was more sexual than bloody, although there were some “hysterical” scenes with people being torn to pieces by hungry vampires. The funniest scene of this so-called comedy is in the trailer when a werewolf transforms into a Chihuahua. This is not a family-approved movie based on the content listed below.
