The Dog Who Saved the Holidays

It’s a sun-soaked holiday season for the Bannister family as they travel to Southern California to stay with Aunt Barbara (Shelley Long), who surprises them with a new puppy named Eve (voiced by Peyton List). Everyone is smitten with Eve – except for the Bannister’s dog, Zeus (voiced by Joey Lawrence), who sees what a mischievous animal she is when no one else is around. After deciding to run away, Zeus sees Ted and Stewey, two thrifty thieves, trying to break into the family home while the Bannisters are at church. It’s up to Zeus and his newest sister Eve to join together to save the holidays for their family!

Dove Review

This is a warm and inspiring film which contains a lot of cute moments. Two dogs, Eve and Zeus, are competing for George Bannister’s attention.

The movie features some well-known actors including Shelley Long and Dean Cain and the voices of Peyton List and Joey Lawrence. Some bumbling thieves help with the comedic moments. Zeus and Eve protect the family from the thieves while they attend church. This is how they save the holidays. This film features a theme of growing up and evolving into people (or dogs) of character.

This is a wholesome film which the family can enjoy together. We are pleased to award it our Dove “Family-Approved” Seal for all ages. This is a good story which will keep you entertained!
