Father of Lights

In this explosive documentary, filmmaker Darren Wilson attempts to do the impossible: film God and understand His character. Along the way, Darren and his team encounter powerful witch doctors, violent gang leaders, a Hindu holy men, and everyday people with extraordinary experiences to tell. Father of Lights attempts to tear away much of the bad press the Almighty has received over the years, and reveals a God who is far better than anyone could have possibly imagined.

Dove Review

This is a powerful and compelling DVD which features documented evidence that a God of love still moves in people’s lives today. Filmmaker Darren Wilson has made a documentary which features the impossible becoming possible. A gang leader becomes a Christian, a Muslim man receives prayer in Jesus’ name and his back is healed and then, in one of the greatest miracles recorded in this DVD, this same man gets the filmmaker and his friend into the Dome of the Rock! It was Darren’s wish to show the world that God can still do the impossible. Along the way, witch doctors and others are confronted with the gospel and have decisions to make.

This DVD focuses on God’s love and the filmmakers even talk with and pray for fellow Christians who hold signs about God’s judgment as they are determined to share the love of God with everyone, even harsh Christians. This DVD is well worth viewing and may change your life. At the very least, it will leave quite an impact. We are glad to award our Dove “Faith Friendly” Seal to this DVD and five Doves, our highest rating. We believe this DVD doesn’t feature anything “over the top” and we are recommending it for all ages, while realizing that it is a bit intense for children less than eight years of age.
