Adventures in Zambezia

Set in a bustling bird city on the edge of the majestic Victoria Falls, Zambezia (or Adventures in Zambezia) is the story of Kai – a naïve, but high-spirited young falcon that travels to the bird city of Zambezia where he discovers the truth about his origins and, in defending the city, learns how to be part of a community.

Dove Review

Here is a movie filled with color and adventure and terrific voice actors in Samuel L. Jackson, Leonard Nimoy, Jeff Goldblum and Abigail Breslin, to name a few.

Kai, the son of Tendai, wants to go on an adventure although his father believes he is not ready to spread his wings yet. But soon Kai is off and the young falcon travels to Zambezia, a bird city, to see what life is like there. Many ensuing adventures make this an entertaining movie for the entire family. There is some slapstick and fantasy type violence with birds fighting and a bird flying into a pot and a stick falling on a bird’s head, but nothing too serious. The colors are vivid, the characters delightful, and children and adults will both enjoy this adventure to Zambezia. We are happy to award it our Dove “Family-Approved” Seal for all ages. Join the fun and take a trip to Zambezia soon via this terrific DVD.
