Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy have teamed up to perform in this less than hilarious film about an FBI agent and a Boston police officer who attempt to find a drug smuggler. Along the way, they form a bond but while trying to get there the audience is forced to listen to the foulest language I’ve heard in a long time in a movie. The constant barrage of F-bombs and inappropriate uses of the name of Jesus are almost intolerable. The action is fairly light in this film and other than the multiple shootings at point blank range, their was little blood. The worst of it was in a scene at a Denny’s restaurant when Special Agent Sarah Ashburn performs a tracheotomy on a man who is chocking on a pancake. After she performs the procedure, blood starts shooting out of the straw until the Boston cop pounds on his chest releasing the blockage.
Due to the excessive language, drug use and overt sexuality we cannot consider this a family film.
